Amazon Amplify is an employee training program designed to strengthen inclusion and increase contributions in meetings, and is a key pillar of Amazon’s broader Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) framework. The program is delivered through two key training elements – Amplify and AmplifyX. Amplify is a 2-hour interactive training workshop, for the general employee population, which focuses on: Contributing effectively in meetings; Being an ally; Leading inclusive meetings.
The workshops provide employees with actionable tips and tricks to improve inclusion in meetings at Amazon, regardless of their role. Equally important to the program is AmplifyX, which supports leadership in how to create a more inclusive and collaborative approach in meetings, by delivering workshops to intact senior leadership teams. To date, Amplify has been delivered to thousands of Amazon employees across 20 different business teams globally.
