Inclusive Culture Initiative Award
Bridgend College embarked on a transformative journey by crafting ten impactful short videos. In these videos, staff members shared their stories of inclusion and belonging. This moving collection was shared both internally and with the wider community through the ‘Be You’ social media campaign. The primary aim was to spotlight Bridgend College as an exceptional place for learning and employment. The ‘Be You’ project shared inspirational messages from staff, thereby positively influencing the college’s culture and, subsequently, its students. It nurtured an environment of belonging and inclusion. These videos, thoughtfully equipped with subtitles in both English and Welsh, can be accessed through QR codes on captivating posters with eye-catching photography. Bridgend College meticulously monitored engagement through unique URLs, QR code scans, and click-through rates via their internal email campaign, which ensured the ‘Be You’ campaign’s success.
