Metro Bank is passionately dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment for its workforce. This journey began with the introduction and sharing of the Metro Bank Diversity and Inclusion Strategy video, emphasizing the message of diversity and inclusion to all colleagues. The strategy was supported by three pillars: Inclusive Culture, Equity for All, and Community and Connection. These principles were brought to life through the integration of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion practices across Metro Bank’s stores. Colleagues actively participated by sharing their own stories through vlogs, blogs, and in-person interactions and through the launch of Metro Bank’s dynamic learning hub. These core values have been seamlessly incorporated into various aspects of the organisation, spanning recruitment, training, talent management, and communication strategies.
