Sefton@Work is Sefton Council’s job brokerage service. It was established in 2003, with the objective to assist unemployed residents of Sefton in finding employment or training opportunities. The service acts as a one-stop shop for all matters related to employment and training, providing free services to Sefton residents who are looking to progress towards sustainable employment. Additionally, the service offers free recruitment services to employers seeking to hire new, and often inexperienced staff. The service caters to clients with varied skill levels, including those with low or no skills and from a diverse range of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Sefton@Work has had a profound and positive impact on its participants, empowering them with the necessary tools, resources, and support to overcome barriers and improve their lives.
