Outstanding Diversity Network Award
The Disability & Neurodiversity Network brings together colleagues from across Auto Trader to raise awareness and make a difference to disabled and neurodiverse colleagues. They aim to make Auto Trader a more accessible and inclusive working environment for existing colleagues, whilst positively impacting the disabled and neurodiverse community. The network has found great success in raising awareness by hosting internal events such ‘Uncovering Neurodiversity’ and ‘Autism Awareness in the Workplace’. As well as raising awareness, the network has fostered a culture of storytelling and offered a supportive platform for those sharing their stories. Colleagues have shared their stories via blogs and internal talks about their experiences with ADHD, OCD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, hearing loss, IBD, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and more. In 2019 Auto Trader was the first recipient of the National Autistic Society’s (NAS) Autism Friendly Employer award.
